About the Item
Robert Lebsack creates artworks using mixed media with ink, acrylic, and charcoal on archival copies of newspapers, textbooks, and sheet music. As a visionary artist, Lebsack weaves thought-provoking narratives, delving into the social and cultural fabric by juxtaposing human subjects and surreal backgrounds. Imbued with layers of headlines, articles, and ads, his street art becomes a powerful platform for addressing pressing societal issues, from materialism and loneliness to environmental shifts and isolation. Lebsack’s artworks tell us stories about ourselves. They can filter our dreams and aspirations while visualizing edgy, half-buried perceptions troubling us about the world around us. Many of his paintings express courage and offer a form of engagement with our continually shifting surroundings.
In this captivating painting, the artist skillfully depicts a disassembled gun, showcasing its intricate parts in meticulous detail. Lebsack created this unique 36 inch square artwork using mixed media and collage on wood. His imagery is hand-drawn with great care and detail. His artworks extend from the front onto all sides, adding visual impact from every angle. This artwork does not require framing, it is wired and ready to hang. It is signed by the artist on the back— free delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area, and affordable worldwide shipping is available for US and international art collectors. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included.
The painting is alive with a mix of stunning details and shadows, highlighting the complexity of the firearm's components. Each piece is meticulously arranged, creating a visual symphony that draws the viewer's attention. The artist used a combination of realistic and abstract elements to convey both the technical nature of the subject and evoke a deeper emotional response. This painting not only serves as a visual exploration of the mechanics of a gun but also prompts contemplation on the broader themes of deconstruction, complexity, and the implications of such objects in our society.
For Artspace Warehouse based in Los Angeles, this piece sparks engaging conversations around the intersection of art and societal themes, encouraging viewers to reflect on the significance of the subject matter presented in the painting.
In Lebsack's own words, “It’s about new ways of thinking for future generations. Hopefulness in young dreamers and a paradigm shift away from conventional reasoning in thoughts and actions. Some social norms can be good but they can also hold some people back, stunting our growth individually and as a society.”
Robert Lebsack received his formal training in illustration, design, and photography at California State University, Long Beach, where he earned a BFA degree in Illustration in 2004. After graduating, Robert went on to work full-time as a studio Artist/Muralist and Commercial Illustrator for an Interior Design Company where he designed graphics and painted murals for restaurants, schools, and universities throughout the country. With his industry experience, Robert moved on to focus on creating fine art. Lebsack's artworks have been showcased in exhibitions across the globe, including New York, Singapore, Zurich, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong, and have garnered praise and captivated major international art collectors, alongside a host of local Los Angeles celebrities.

- La Puerta NegraBy Danny BrownLocated in Los Angeles, CADanny Brown is a first-generation American urban artist born in Los Angeles. His parents relocated their family from Oaxaca, Mexico in search of opportunity in the United States. Danny Brown’s artworks allocate an intrinsic connection between himself and the diverse communities occupying Los Angeles. Brown combines art history, streetwear trends, and pop art symbolism to create a signature style with a soft and fun, yet edgy character. This original acrylic, oil pastel, watercolor, and ink artwork on paper measures 13 inches square. This artwork is not framed. This painting is signed by Brown on the back. Convenient local Los Angeles area shipping. Affordable Continental U.S. and International shipping also available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Danny Brown uses his interest in fashion as well as his knowledge of color, design, and culture as inspiration for his paintings. The loss of friends to violence and incarceration, combined with the loss of a family member to gang violence pushed Brown to use art as a source of therapy and to project a positive inspiring image for his community. Brown’s art coalesces youth culture, art history, fashion and American consumerism and melds them all to create his unique style. Instantly relatable and recognizable, his cathartic paintings represent contemporary issues as well as a demographic that is traditionally underrepresented in fine art. His works speak to young Americans and inspire a whole new generation of art collectors and admirers. Since 2016, Daniel Brown...Category
