His realistic way of painting is a result of good looking. He finds subjects everywhere, often an idea starts to live with him so that it does not lead to just 1 paintings. For Jos de Wit, an idea often becomes a series of paintings in combination with a series of images.
The sculptures made of wood are made from the same wood that Jos uses to build musical instruments.
The titles of the paintings regularly refer to more than what can be seen in the painting. Jos is able to work small, despite the small size, details also remain credible and strongly portrayed with your nose on top.
