About the Item
Many different thin of color layers make an impression of lots of light shining through the ice, and I love to catch this special light very much. If you have ever seen light shining through ice on a glacier you will know what I mean. You can see this painting as an abstract but you can also see it as a reminder that the ice is preciuous and that global warming is already a threat to nature as we know it. My paintings want to remind you of the beauty there is in nature and that it is worth preserving it. 60x60x4 cm, Acrylic mixed media on wood. Signed on the back, ready to hang with hook on the back. Sides are painted and part of the painting, so no framing needed although you can frame it if you want to. The painting is more heavy than a canvas because it is painted on a big wooden box.
