Frame: 19" h x 17.25" w. American Landscapist Harvey Joiner (1852-1932) was born in Charleston, Indiana just northeast of Louisville, Kentucky. He showed great interest in the arts from a young age. He learned to paint under the direction of German artist, David Hoffman, and using photographs to reference his brush. His unique approach to the landscape genre has earned him fame in the American south. His sense of detail and attention to depth makes him a notable figure in American Art History.
