About the Item
The artwork "Keeping Wishes" is an abstract fantasy about her bright and happy wishes. This painting could be hung horizontal and vertical - very practical. I am a professional musician having studied music composition in Tallinn, Estonia, therefore it is important for me to capture the rhythm, tonality, and tempo of the music with a brush on canvas. Having lived in Cyprus for many years I am also inspired by the sea and the underwater landscapes and often my abstract paintings are inspired by the underwater flowers known as actinian. My unique and spontaneous oil paintings are always executed in bold or pastel colors that bleed into one another as if they have been submerged in water. However, I have also found that the world, in its current predicament, is too harsh and dark and wanted to create artwork that would make anyone content even in the darkest of days.
