Soft shades of blues, violets, greens, yellow and oranges present a peaceful, restful scene of quiet reflection in a contemporary style. Held in a simple but elegant maple float frame and signed on the front by the artist. Framed dimensions are 37 x 49 x 2 inches.
Marcia Wise is a Massachusetts-based contemporary oil painter and educator whose paintings are inspired by nature's landscape forms and patterns, light effects and reflections, and the play of textures. Her work has been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally. Wise is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.
