Series Poetic Statement: Portal of Peace. 24" x 24" Eco-Friendly Textured Oil, Acrylic, Metallic Rust, Champagne, Brass, Gold and Bronze Statement Painting. Portal XI by Michele Morata is a One-of-a-Kind Contemporary Textured Metallic Artwork using only Organic Art Mediums healthy for our homes, offices, and earth. (3) 4 mm Swarovski strategically embedded for additional subtle sparkle effect. Series Inspiration: Initially from beach portal on Treasure Island Beach behind The Montage Laguna while painting en plein air, and then further inspiration from my observations of other nature portals in desert and mountain regions. Eco-Friendly Crushed Stone from Italy with international recyclable mediums are layered under the Oil and metallic pigments. Heat is applied before glazing. Painting sides are 1.75" archival wood with textured edges to match front; requiring no frame. Eco-friendly Archival Matte Clear Glaze completes this unique one-of-a-kind original artwork. Michele's original paintings are featured in fine art galleries, private and corporate art collections, movie sets, TV shows/commercials, and book covers.
