A 8” x 11” x 2” Surrealism Acrylic Portrait Painting by artist Christopher Polentz. A certificate of authenticity will accompany the piece upon its purchase or delivery. Carnivale’s Impromptu Dancer: So we don’t even know who this guy is! Over the years we have just called him “Carnivale’s Impromptu Dancer” or C.I.D. It doesn’t matter what town we’re in, what time of year it is, daytime, nighttime, doesn’t matter… BAM! Suddenly he’s there, in the middle of it all dancing the Samba, the Cha Cha or something. Then, as soon as we get close, he simply vanishes into the crowd… it’s kind of magical. Cid, if you’re out there, we love ya! Chris Polentz graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1985. After working as an illustrator for 20 years he studied at Syracuse University earning his Master’s degree. Polentz has taught at Art Center, Mira Costa College, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and Palomar College. He currently teaches at Irvine Valley College.
