About the Item
Oil on canvas. From the ancient Greek lā́thō/λᾱ́θω, the name Leto is believed to mean "hidden one", or "the forgotten one". The faceless Leto is also an allusion to C.S. Lewis' Till We Have Faces. Her blue-green skin signals other-worldiness. Stitc.
ARTIST BIO
An emerging artist, working primarily in oils, I often employ but am not limited to, bold colors and texture in a post-impressionistic manner.
Since briefly studying art at Montclair State early in my college career, I have endeavored to encompass the basic principles of classic painters from both the Renaissance and the Post-Impressionistic era. I strive to translate their skillful sensibilities of light, color, and form in my own way.
I currently live and work in the United States and continue to develop my work.
