About the Item
Mykola Zhuravel came to New York in 2005 and worked in a studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn for 6 months. This painting was created during this time. The artist had an idea to depict Jesus Christ using multiple elements that are so common for Zhuravel's paintings - chalice, fish, Madonna - all biblical iconic imagery. The artist incorporated them into this beautiful modernistic composition. The painting is in excellent condition.
