About the Item

Steve Sangapore’s “New England, Summer #2” is a 9 x 12 inch oil painting on a panel from his “Scapes” series. This contemporary realist plein air landscape painting was painted on-site in Boston, MA. The painting features what was left of an old, decrepit bridge running across a river among New England's lush foliage. This landscape painting employs whimsical brush strokes which generates a strong sense of motion and light. All stages of life are filled with humanity that both elevates and dissipates the spirit.” Her work has been written about in The NY Times, Art News, The Village Voice, The Star-Ledger, Newsday, Flash Art...
