2023

About the Item

Contemporary oil still life painting by classically-trained English painter Amy Florence. A blue jug takes center stage in this dynamic still life of pink and white flowers. The composition exudes a sense of homeyness, with a book supporting one of the vases and an empty vase filled with water, waiting to be adorned with more flower cuttings. White roses and anenomes, arranged with pink roese, tulips, rununculus and gladiolus stand proud in their vessels amidst bright green stems and leafy bases. Framed Dimensions: 38 x 43.9 inches Painting dimensions: 33.5 x 39.5 inches Artist Bio: Amy Florence is a London born artist working out of her studio in Florence, Italy. She trained at the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence where she went on to teach the advanced painting and drawing programs for 5 years. In November 2014 she set up Studio Donatello. Now, she divides her time between painting and commissions.
