About the artists: Anatoly Borisovich Tarabanov was born in September 25, 1953 in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. Mr. Tarabanov graduated Dnipropetrovsk State Art College in 1973(est. 1925). Mr. Tarabanov excel his techniques, learned and got inspired from his mentors and teachers Kuko and Shchedrov while attending the Art College. He has been accepted into the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1988. The author of genre paintings, portraits, and landscapes, Mr. Anatoly Tarabanov came to national prominence as a fine artist in 1978 and has had numerous national and international exhibitions since then. The paintings are distinguished by emotional openness, warmth, and affirm the harmony of life. Mr. Tarabanov paintings are full of philosophy, allegory, lyrical and poetic world outlook. Dominants of creativity are the deep roots of national traditions, Ukrainian cultural heritage and works in the field of easel painting.
