Very well executed oil on canvas still life painting of a wicker basket of fresh fruit by the Italian born painter, Beniamino Ciccoletti. Signed lower right and signed verso with title. Circa 1975. Condition is excellent. The painting is finely detailed, with a strong vibrant palette, The title roughy translated is “Pit of the Peach”. Provenance: RVS Fine Art Gallery, Southampton, New York. Ciccoletti is well known for his stills life paintings. Later in his career he became more abstract in his compositions. The painting is presently not framed. Framing options are available through the gallery.
