Acrylic painting on Canson paper.
Hand-signed by the artist on lower right.
This beautiful composition represents a modern version of one of the most subjects in art history: the still life.
Good conditions except for some cracks on the left side.
Claude Dechezelle (1928-2003). Born in 1928 in Ormes (Eure) and died in 2003, is a French painter. He was the pupil of Jean Dupas (1882-1964) at the School of Fine Arts in Paris in the 1950s, then a boarder at Casa de Velázquez in Madrid for two seasons from 1955 to 1957. He is a professor of drawing at the city of Paris. His painting is a complete palette of different tones of blue, his drawing is frank, dry. He translates the landscapes of the Midi with elegance and contrasts of light.
