A painting we all wish was real! This mouth watering still life depicts a large currant bun, drizzled in icing with pecans on top. Well-presented in a contemporary frame, painted in a pale sage.To the reverse of the artwork is a handwritten letter by the artist, addressed to its original recipient talking in detail about the humourise inspiration that helped in painting the currant bun. Also fix to the reverse are several gallery exhibition labels bordering the artist's signature, date, and title of the work. On board.
