Digital Painting, Lambda Print on fuji crystal archival paper mounted on aluminum dibond, acrylic front.
The exchange between color and form create a deepness of space and becomes three dimensional. An abstract aesthetic canon of circular, square and rectangular forms. The arrangement is then overlaid with clear, glass-like layers, building another, seemingly invisible level over the shapes. Distortion and movement are created which refine the warped presentation. - The idea of framed surfaces of color was the spark which began this series of works by JCW.

In his images of digital transformation, (JCW) Jens-Christian Wittig works with this new medium to create his specific and unique artistic world, taking learned classical techniques of composition and perspective and bringing them into the digital age.
