Zhou Peng
Zhou Peng is a fine art photographer from Shanghai, China inspired by the work of Cai Guo-Qiang and Zao Wou-Ki. Formally trained as an oil painter, Peng soon turned to commercial photography, but also kept a passion for fine art photography. His semi-abstract photographs explore the fusion of multiple cultures and concepts leading to new ways of seeing and thinking. He is currently a Master of Fine Arts candidate in the photography department at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Peng’s central inspiration derives from Chinese philosophy, and his aesthetic direction is inspired by Chinese painting — the Cavalier Perspective, Line, Void and Qi (Spirit-resonance and Life-movement) and Western oil painting — Color and Color Tone, Light and Shadow, and Third Dimensions. His work has won photography awards including at the Prix de la Photographie, Paris and the Moscow International Foto Awards, and his work has been exhibited internationally.

- W.T.C: Concrete Abstract#10 (panorama)By Shai KremerLocated in New York, NYShai Kremer lives and works in New York. He completed his MFA studies at the School of Visual Arts (S.V.A) in Manhattan. For many years, Kremer's eye has been drawn to themes of urban destruction and reconstruction and to landscapes evidencing trauma. These concerns merged in his ambitious series W.T.C: Concrete Abstract, which explores the impact of the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. For more than a decade, Kremer made periodic visits to Ground Zero, focusing his camera on the efforts towards recovery, repair, and renewal. As a collection, Concrete Abstract conveys the gradual progression from tragedy towards healing. Each large-scale archival pigment print in the series is composed from as many as sixty to 100 overlapping images, resulting in a subtle collage that invites closer inspection while also reading as a unified whole. W.T.C: Concrete Abstract series was shown in the following venues: 9.11 Memorial Museum New York Museum of the City of New York The Bronx Museum of the Arts The Brooklyn Academy of Music Photolux Festival.
