He is best known for his exceptionally intimate and touching portraits of the most endangered species in Africa. In his new project he creates Platinum Palladium artworks in a size not yet realized. Using a special technique, several prints are joined together to create a completely new outstanding impressive work of art. It refines photography, lifts it out of the flood of images of everyday life. The Prints give you the feeling that you can enter and touch the photographed objects. Platinum Palladium wraps this world in velvet. It transforms reality into a dream. The Platinum-Palladium process is the most stable and aesthetically rewarding of all black and white photographic printing techniques. Produced by coating specially manufactured paper with a light-sensitive emulsion containing Platinum and Palladium salts, these prints exhibit an expanded tonal range, three-dimensionality, and a uniquely luminous quality.
