In 1966, when Cutrone was still in high school, he started hanging out at The Factory. He was introduced to many members of Warhol’s circle by living in the back of the Velvet Underground’s apartment on 3rd Street in the West Village. While he lived there and when he was first visiting The Factory in 1966, Cutrone was a dancer on the Exploding Plastic Inevitable. In 1968, Cutrone left The Factory and Warhol to pursue his own painting. He returned four years later, this time to work on his photography. Upon his return, while working on his own photo project, Cutrone was offered a job at Interview magazine, which had been founded by Warhol in 1968. When Cutrone was ready to leave the magazine, Warhol wasn’t ready to let him. Warhol offered Cutrone the job as his personal studio assistant, which Cutrone held from 1972-1982. Gigi Williams, Ronnie’s ex-wife, was a makeup artist and has worked on many major motion pictures such as Gone Girl...
