About the Item

Nebula #1, 2014, 10x15", Edition of 3/10. digital C-Print, based on an edited Polaroid Spectra film. Hand-signed and numbered by the artist on the back. Not mounted. Exhibitions: Bombay Beach Biennale 2019, permanent collection at the newly founded Polaroid Museum. 'Instant Dreams' Saatchi's The Other Art Fair invited Group Show. Both Shows curated by Stefanie Schneider. Josey Cary Polaroid Artist, Musician, USAJosey Cary is a multi-disciplinary artist based in rural Maine. He studied at the Maine College Of Art. A long time member of the men’s group 12:12 Project. ‘I started taking Polaroids in 2008 around the time I heard the rumors about Polaroid film being discontinued. Something about working strictly within a dying format really intrigued me, and motivated me to create as much as I could before I ran out of film. I like to think of it as an attractive obstacle.’
