Kaplowitz’s photographs have been seen in numerous museums across the United States, including the Field Museum, the Newark Museum, the American Museum of Natural History, the Pacific Asia Museum, the Asia Society, the Museum for African Art, the Peabody Essex Museum, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the New-York Historical Society, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Houston Museum of African American Culture and galleries, Tyler Rollins, New York and Carl Schlosberg’s Fine Arts, Los Angeles, Artless Gallery, Tokyo. Her photographs have been published in magazines such as Time and Natural History, as well as her book A World of Decent Dreams: Vietnam Images. She is working on a book of Eastern Tibet.
