Terry O'Neill - photographer / American actress Raquel Welch being crucified in an oddly anachronistic publicity still for the Hammer Films production ‘One Million Years BC’, directed by Don Chaffey, 1966. O'Neill grew up in a strict catholic household making him extremely unsure about ever releasing these photos which had only been released 30 years after taking them. O'Neill came up with the daring photo idea when Raquel was still a bit shy about being filmed in her now infamous fur bikini. She told O'Neill she thought she'd be crucified by the press for it. And he thought, 'That's it!"
