Diana ThaterDiana Thater - "Beauty has depth..." - Color Offset Lithograph2004
2004
About the Item
Poetic colour offset lithograph 2004, hand signed and numbered 10/15.
After the room installation "Dolphins" (1999): A spacious video installation that invites the viewer to become part of the underwater world and the dolphins' living environment.
The poetic recordings are intended to provoke critical reflection on the ecosystem of the sea and at the same time represent the weightless aesthetics of a vertical, horizontal and deep existence in the vastness of the sea.
Universal images that are representative of the greater whole, the cosmos, and focus on the relationship between humans and nature.
In good condition.
"Beauty has depth.
History has meaning.
Screw the market.
Keep the faith."
More about Diana Thater:
Diana Thater, US artist, curator, writer and pedagogue, was born in San Francisco in 1962.

Master of Fine Arts at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Since the early 1990s, Los Angeles-based artist Diana Thater has created a pioneering combination of film, video and installation art whose main theme is the tension between the natural environment and media reality, and thus between the tamed and the wild.
