The Tsonga region is in the north of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. It was a day of celebration, cattle had been slaughtered and the ladies of the community had been cooking since dawn. The young men and women of the village were preparing to dance, laughing and joking and full of excitement. And amongst them a girl who seemed wise beyond her years, with a calm detachment…
