A great lover of nature which he enjoys especially with photographic reports realized in diverse enclaves throughout the Spanish geography, as well as in numerous trips abroad. Fascinated by the light and the strength of sunrises and sunsets, he seeks to transmit peace and serenity in his photos. In his travels touring the different continents, Castan tried to capture every visual moment in the retina of his photographic camera. He wished to be able to transmit through these images, the feeling of loneliness lived in each of those moments, accompanied only by the silence and the magnitude of nature. The vast majority of his photographs are made with long exposures to capture in a different way the light and thus make the colors manifest in different shades and textures, transforming the water, the leaves, the clouds...
