All Jose Luis Beltran de Lassaletta prints are made to order in limited editions on museum quality paper. Each print is Estate stamped on the back and signed and numbered by Jose Luis Beltran de Lassaletta, and accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Lead time is four to six weeks, but we often receive them sooner. *Please note this image is available in several sizes. Prices increase as editions sell out. Please note that prices and availability may change due to current sales. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ These first ever seen images of the genius artist Salvador Dali, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealism work. A true collector’s item. The negatives were found in the basement of Jose Luis Beltran Lassaletta’s family house. His father, José Luis Beltrán Gras, a dear friend of Dali took the images in the summer of 1950. We are honored to introduce these series never seen in the US. We have the rights of these images and felt a responsibility to share them in our gallery. Every print is made out of the original negatives and only a very limited print will be available for sell. This is a true opportunity to collect a one of kind image of the artist in his home in Portlligat. The images illustrated were captured by José Luis Beltrán Gras and Ricardo Sans. The images depict the artist’s two sides. On the one hand are the sessions taken in Cadaqués and Portlligat at the end of the 1940s, which showcase the authentic side of Dali in his house eating lunch with his cousins and with his friend Pere Barret, a fisherman who would take Dali on his boat whenever the artists wanted to go out to sea and contemplate the stars at night. One can also recognize Arturo Caminada, personal driver and assistant; and the young Francisco Romans, son of the artist’s cook.
