A ferry crosses an expanse of sea towards distant mountains in this photo based artwork by Mark Bartkiw. The high viewpoint, as though flying over the water, adds to the dream-like quality of the image. The image is mounted and dibond and sealed behind plexiglass. The work weighs 23 lbs. It is the Artist's Proof from an edition of 8.
This C-print is sealed between dibond and plexiglass. This 36 x 36 inch image is the Artist's Proof from an edition of eight. There are two additional sizes available for this image: 30 x 30 inches, $2,800. (Edition of 8 with AP); 42 x 42 inches, $4,000. (Edition of 3 with AP). Please allow 3 weeks for delivery of a new size.
After studies in photography at Sheridan College, Canadian artist Mark Bartkiw worked as a freelance photographer in advertising, portraiture, and the fashion and music industries. His clients have included Toronto Life, Paramount Pictures, Universal Music and many more. In his photo-based artworks, Bartkiw disrupts the landscape by juxtaposing expected elements with slightly surreal, dream-like imagery. Bartkiw’s artworks are held in corporate and private collections.
