Maurizio Galimberti è un artista-fotografo noto per l'uso unico del mezzo Polaroid, che diventa un frammento di più ampie figurazioni musive. Ispirato dal Futurismo italiano, come fonte principale per gli studi sulla cinetica e la rappresentazione dei movimenti in fotografia, si autodefinisce "Instant Artist" per essersi concentrato esclusivamente sulla Polaroid, e fondatore del Movimento Dada Polaroid. Sperimentando la griglia a mosaico in grande formato, si specializza nella ritrattistica e, partecipando più volte al Festival del Cinema di Venezia, ritrae Johnny Depp e un gran numero di star del cinema, diventando presto molto popolare. Testimonial per Epson e Polaroid, e recentemente per Illy caffè, è uno dei più famosi fotografi italiani.
