About the Item
A few days after the death of my father, André Sas, in 2020, I received numerous very moving testimonies full of praise for him from the from his former colleagues and partners in the profession “offering me to help me promote the photographic heritage left by my father.”
I was speechless. I realized - perhaps belatedly - the immensity of the inheritance and the work that I recovered. In all modesty, I also understood the artistic value of these archives and the importance of continuing to support.
A France which rebuilt, and who enjoys a newfound freedom. Today, it is with great joy and emotion that we share with you this generous work full of life, reflection of a key moment of French society in the 20th century.
