Ed Baynard's linocut "The Little Bird & The Leaves of Grass", which also includes elements of relief and Thai garden grass. A small red bird perches on a dark brown branch on an off-white background. It is signed and dated in the lower right. Edition 120 from 1996.

Artist Bio:
Born in Washington, D.C. in 1940. His first exhibition was in 1971 at the legendary Willard Gallery. His work is held in the collections of many prestigious galleries and museums. Ed Baynard currently lives and works in New York.
Baynard's work is focuses on simple forms, inspired by his affinity with woodblock prints. Many of his works are of familiar and calm subjects, with which he chooses to boldly decorate the surface.
