About the Item
"Be Extra Alert on Rainy Days" is a color lithograph poster drawn by Isadore Seltzer for the Wisconsin Division of the American Automobile Association. It depicts two yellow ducks on a dark blue background in the rain. One has an umbrella and one does not.

Isadore Seltzer has always been excited by architecture, having studied it at art school and having conducted walking tours of Lower Manhattan. But Mr. Seltzer has devoted most of his life to doing illustrations for magazines, including the New Yorker. He has also illustrated children's books and made works for popular television shows like Sesame Street. Additionally, he taught art for a time at Syracuse University and the Parsons School of Design.
