Jean-Marie Guiny was born in Versailles in 1954. He made his first animal drawings in Indian ink in 1974 and studied engraving. Rider, passionate about horses and bullfighting, he travels a lot to gain inspiration from the equestrian world.
In 1977, he began engraving and was then published in France and abroad. After working in the greatest Parisian workshops alongside Miro, Tobiasse, Alechinsky, Coignard, today he devotes himself to sculpture.
