A fine etching by the Scottish printmaker and artist John R. Barclay (1884-1962), after an original oil painting by George Smith RSA (1870-1934). Here Barclay has reproduced Smith's composition of a farrier standing in a stable with three working horses. The print has been signed in pencil by both artists below plate lines. On laid.
