Sloan, John. SEEING NEW YORK. M.188. Etching, 1917. Signed, titled, and inscribed "100 Prrofs," all in pencil. Edition of 100, of which only 85 were printed.
The image is of live chickens and geese being transported for slaughter, but riding in a wagon similar to those which took tourists to "See New York." 3 3/8 x 3 3/4 inches, 60 x 95 mm., on a larger sheet with full margins. Framed to 9 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches. In excellent condition.
