About the Item
This very nice poster was made by Jean Jacquelin (1905-1989) a French poster artist.
This poster presents us the 24 Hours of Le Mans of the year 1972 which represented the 40th edition of the event and which took place on June 10 and 11 on the circuit of the Sarthe.
This race will be sadly marked by the death of the Swedish pilot Joakim Bonnier who hung with his Lola, the Ferrari 365 GTB4 of Florian Vetsch.
