About the Item

The two tigers emerge from the traveler's robe. In perpetual motion, the tigers playfully struggle to achieve balance. Forever connected, the twin tigers embody the duality of nature while also protecting the traveler on his long journey to safety. Sanctuary features a dimensional and intricate framing element that is carefully integrated into the sculpted image, transforming the print edition into a new work evolved from the original painting.
