American Muralist John Gable uses vivid color, light and detail to create a variety of commissioned murals for selected architectural and interior design firms, corporations, museums, restaurants and other high-end commercial or residential structures. Murals include those done for the Automotive Hall of Fame, the Burning Tree Golf Club, the History of Duck Hunting on the Chesapeake, and special projects for Audi and Volkswagen. Gable murals are done primarily in acrylic on canvas but often his work is done in Watercolors, as for his commission for the America’s Cup series, Boston Classical Orchestra in concert, and the National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C. The subject matter and style of Gable’s work is adapted to the project and can vary from painterly realism to a precise graphic or period style.
