Original poster: LOCOMOTIVE A VAPEUR. Type 141 P. Artist: A. Bouvry and Albert Brenert Horizontal railway poster that has been archival linen backed, ready to frame. Very good condition. Albert Brenet was known for his railway and railroad images. Very little information is available about the other artist A. Bouvry. Along the bottom, in French text, it was diagramed to show how water was used in the steam locomotive and the propulsion mechanism. The detail also shows suspension and stabilization and the control of smoke from the engine. This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is professionally acid-free conservation mounted, linen-backed, and in very good condition.
