The project uses the remains of recently felled trees to construct talismanic 'forest figures'. They are left to slowly fall apart where they stand with the photographic record being the only enduring impression. The forest is in constant flux, with the trees coming and going either of their own accord or through forest management. Nature is a dynamic force that one becomes more aware of as time passes and areas begin to look very diffrent over several years... Where once we stood on Scragged Oak Hill...
