About the Item

Reduction linocut of a swan on a sunny lake. This is one of a small edition of 8 prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original. This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. The printed area is 30 x 40cm. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit in a 16 x 20 inch frame. Reduction linocuts are multi-layered relief prints where every layer is cut and printed from the same block of lino, destroying the block as you progress.
