About the Item

Original California Wine Country vintage poster by Earl Thollander. On the back of the poster is a diagram of the grape-growing regions of California. The artist provides some comparisons of the grape-growing regions of California to regions in Europe. (Vineyards near the towns of Napa, Santa Cruz, and Santa Rosa are very cool; similar to the grape growing areas of Switzerland and the Rhine, Mozelle, and Champagne districts in Europe. Other regions are also provided with similar comparisons. Specific grape-growing regions and grape-growing areas are outlined. The colors of the poster are bright and vibrant. The poster is in very good condition with only minor edge wear with no tears and no paper loss. The poster is not linen-backed so that the maps and details can be viewed. Printed on a heavier stock paper. Very good condition.
