EDMOND CERIA (French / 1884-1955)
The painter and lithographer Edmond Céria was born in Évian-les-Bains (Haute-Savoie). Céria studied at the Académie Julian. He exhibited with the Salon des Artistes Indépendants from 1907, the Salon d'Automne from 1912, and with the Salon des Tuileries from its foundation in 1925. Solo exhibitions included shows at the Galerie Bernheim in Paris and the Wildenstein Gallery in New York. See: Alazard, Ceria, 1930.
