Home with the catch is a limited edition sailing print by Gordon Hunt. The view is looking out from Mousehole, as a fishing trawler heads back home to Penryn, with the fresh catch. Gordon Hunt paints beautiful, colourful and relaxing paintings. Gordon works from his home studio in Fowey, Cornwall. “I paint the light effects of sunshine on water, with sparkling reflections and silhouettes, resulting in strong contrasting colours and dynamic shapes,” he explains. “I have a real sense of ‘painting the light’ when creating these works, evoking the feeling of sunshine, holidays and well being, which I think is why they are so popular.” “The camera is my sketchbook, I carry it at all times, ready to capture a moment, a ray of light, a sparkle of water. Back in the studio I sketch out the composition in my sketchbook, it has brown paper pages, so as well as the shapes drawn with a black pencil, I also use a white pencil to indicate the white, bright areas of the painting.” Gordon Hunt paints in acrylic on box canvas. “The quick drying properties of acrylic suits my style of painting, building up layers of colour, working towards the brightest parts of the painting.

'Beaver Lake Flowers' is an artist's proof giclée print after the 1996 original, signed by the artist in the lower right. Working in the organic and mutable hues of watercolor, Barnett's flowers emerge from out of the variegated undergrowth only to dissolve back into pure color just as quickly. Barnett's mastery over color and light reveals him as a student of the Impressionists, while his tendency towards abstraction highlights his appreciation of later Expressionists as well. • Dream a Little Dream (Archival Print of Blue Ball Point Pen Forest Landscape)
    By Linda Newman Boughton
    Located in Hudson, NY
Archival inkjet print of a realistic lush country forest landscape drawing made with blue ball-point pen "Dream a Little Dream", original drawing made in 2022 by Linda Newman Boughton, limited edition of 15 prints made the same year Archival inkjet prints on German watercolor paper 37 x 32 inches unframed, framing options available Signed and editioned by the artist Excellent condition This suite of limited edition prints captures Linda Newman Boughton’s Baroque inspired landscape "Dream a Little Dream" in vivid detail. Taking four months to create, the original drawing was made entirely using the artist's favorite brand of “Rite in the Rain” waterproof blue-ink pen. Working from a photograph, Boughton employed a variation of pen strokes, combining gestural lines that serve as the drawing’s foundation, with tighter strokes to develop the sections of intricate detail. From a wild and tangled web of lines emerges identifiable forms, such as a complex root system or a bushy canopy of leaves. The work itself feels kinetic; millions of mark makings vibrate with an energy that stems from a sacred connection to nature. Boughton’s passion for the arts began early, as she acted, made art, and designed theatrical sets throughout her youth. She went on to study fashion illustration at Florida State University before transferring to F.I.T in New York City. Experience in the fashion world and her love for theatre soon landed her jobs in Hollywood, painting sets and murals for feature films such as Nightmare on Elm Street VII, Fight Club, among many others. The artist lives in Ghent, NY with her husband where she continues to make art and write and create show ideas for television. Artist Bio: Linda grew up in an artistic and theatrical family in Tampa, Florida. Drawing and painting always felt effortless and fun for her. Acting and designing in theatre also made up much of her early years. Her first choice in higher education was at Florida State University where she was a theatre major and had an art minor. At the University drawing skills were emphasized, and with a love of drawing people, she found herself in a fashion illustration class, loving every minute of it. Within a year of taking that class, she taught a summer fashion illustration course at Florida State University, and soon made her move to New York City where she attended the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, graduating Cum Laude, with a degree in fashion illustration. She worked in the fashion industry for the next several years, illustrating, designing accessories and shooting freelance photography. Her love of acting and design soon propelled her to seek out Hollywood and the creative opportunities of working in the movie industry.
