"Bord de Fleuve" Impressionist Landscape of Riverside Paris, Lithograph on Paper (#86/90)
A stone arch bridge spans the Seine in this Paris landscape by French artist, Jacques Voyet (French, 1926-2010). This lithograph is made in cool tones of blue and gray reflected on the river with the 20th century cityscape sitting low on the horizon line. Signed and numbered along the bottom, "86/90 J. Voyet." Presented in a new white mat. Mat size: 28"H x 32"W Paper size: 21.63"H x 29.75"W.
Voyet, Jacques (French, 1926-2010) was a Postwar and Contemporary painter, sculptor, and set designer. He was born in Loudon and settled in Touraine, on the border of the river Loire. He is known for portraits and landscapes, as well as his decoration of theater. He exhibited in Paris, visiting the "École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.”
