The artist describes this project: "Obscured by Clouds" and "Astronomy Dominé" are a distillation of some of the my favorite parts of the earlier paintings and prints, cropped, enlarged in scale, and assembled from the same collection of stencils, objects, and patterns. As the layers intermingle it becomes difficult to determine which one is actually on top. The interplay of patterns, shapes, textures and colors lead the eye around the print providing abundant opportunity for visual discovery.
