Patty deGrandpre’s “Broken Television 203” is a unique abstract 4 x 7 inch inkjet print on 13 x 9 inch photo paper in delineated and pixelized hues of blues with a pop of warm taupe that incorporates a picture taken of a broken television screen. The vibrant colors and tones of this delicate abstract print emerge in the center of a pearlescent background and is from her “Broken Television” series. Patty deGrandpre’s small contemporary works have a powerful effect as the viewer is compelled to look closer at the layers and hues. Each unique image is inkjet printed only once, on Red River Polar Pearl Metallic paper, and is signed and dated bottom right. This print will ship flat in a protective sleeve ready for the frame of your choice. This dynamic print would make a lovely addition to any contemporary collection.

Patty deGrandpre
Patty deGrandpre is a Massachusetts based artist. She received her BFA in Visual Design at Southeastern Massachusetts University in 1987. Her studio is in her home in Beverly, Massachusetts. She has participated in many shows, both juried and invitational, at local, regional and national levels. In addition to three solo exhibitions, she has received accolades and awards over the years in both Fine Art and Printmaking.
