Patty deGrandpre’s “Doomsday” is a unique abstract 3.5 x 10 inch inkjet print on 8.5 x 11 photo paper in black and white that incorporates a picture taken of a broken television screen. The monochromatic tones and gradations of this distinct abstract print suggests an overcast landscape or storm and is from her “Broken Television” series. Patty deGrandpre’s small contemporary works have a powerful effect as the viewer is compelled to look closer at the layers and hues. Each unique image is inkjet printed only once, on Red River Polar Pearl Metallic photo paper, and is signed and dated bottom right. This print will ship flat in a protective sleeve ready for the frame of your choice. This striking print would make a lovely addition to any contemporary collection.
