UV Print on Canvas / 5 Edition
Rafet Arslan produced this series as a handmade collage in 2010, using Gustav Dore's two series titled 'Angels and the Dead' as a backdrop. He created his own story on the floors with pieces he selected from his own archive. A mini story in 5 parts.
Before the pandemic, he applied this series in a new version, as UV printing on canvas, to make it more voluminous.

To destruct this existing old world, I imagine a Third World War that are conducted by Resistance Circus, not by governments, religions, armies, companies.
A mutant resistance circus armed with
Uncanny against the wisdom
Heterodoxy against the ortodoxy
Intellect against the ideology
Nomadism against the sedentation
Autonomy against the bureaucracy
Ethics against the morality
Dream against the reality
Cheer against the pessimism
Gnosis against dogmas.
Open carnival of Sufis who say “I am (a piece of) God”, alchemists, insanes, kids, libertarians and all kinds of creatures.
