1977

About the Item

Richard Bernstein Diamond Ring - 1977 Print - Silkscreen on Heavy Paper Paper : 30'' x 26'' inches image size : 28" x 23 ½" inches Edition: Signed in pencil, titled, dated and marked 130/200 Few artists have fared well in both the esthetic and commercial art scene; Richard Bernstein is one. As a pop artist painter and illustrator, he portrays simple shapes and forms with infinite beauty. As a "chronicler of his times," his portraits of Salvador Dali, Ryan O'Neal & Racquel Welch exemplify the 'pop art' genre. He had the singular honor of doing the cover art for Andy Warhol's Interview magazine for 10 years where he created an unmistakable identifiable style that is instantly recognizable as the "Bernstein Look."
